Celebrating Chaya's 10th Anniversary : On June 17, 2006, a dinner and live auction to raise funds supporting Chaya. Chaya is a community based nonprofit organization established in 1996 to serve South Asian women in times of crisis and need, and to raise awareness of domestic violence issues. Chaya is the only organization that specifically addresses the needs of South Asian women. A portion of the proceeds from sales in this gallery will benefit Chaya. http://www.chayaseattle.org/

Social Justice Fund Annual Event 2006 : The Social Justice Fund NW (formerly A Territory Resource) is dedicated to addressing the root causes of social, economic, and environmental inequities. Each year, Social Justice Fund NW raises funds then grants that money to non-profit social justice organizations in the Northwest and Northern Rockies. On October 6, 2006, the Social Justice Fund annual event featured an esteemed panel discussing immigration policy, a meet and greet reception and a dinner with awards ceremony, auction, keynote speech and spoken word performance.
